moving toward launch

Every day we're moving closer to launching musclefiction.com! Yesterday, Archangel Robriel, sent me 4 of the illustrations we'll be launching the site with. Oh, my God, they are hot! He really is a talented artist and has managed to capture exactly what's in my head when I write these stories.

So, including the illustration he's already given me, our "cover model", the original muscle Freak, we'll be launching with 5 of the stories having illustrations: three of the previously posted stories and 2 of the new stories. I wish I had the resources to have all the stories illustrated, but that just isn't feasible.

However, each month, one of the two new stories posted will have an illustration by the Archangel Robriel. We've got all kinds of hot stories and sizzling illustrations planned for the site. Every day we're moving closer to launch and will be going live in early August.

a big guy getting bigger

I've posted pictures of this guy before, Alexei something. In contest condition, at 195 pounds, he's near perfection, in my opinion. Off season, as this picture shows, he's something else altogether. At only 5'-7" tall, Alexei is making up for what he lacks in height with some of the most serious MASS around. Not only do his arms look huge, his pecs look like they're as big as his head. His pecs!
As he continues to bulk up, though, his weaknesses are starting to become glaringly apparent. While his thighs and biceps are AMAZING, his calves and his forearms are clearly lagging behind. This is going to hurt his prospects in future competitions. I am all about disproportionate muscle development [outsized pecs or biceps] in guys with generally good bodies. It's hot. This is a case of just not developing a couple groups in an otherwise amazing physique. purposeful disproportionate lagging is not hot. Not to me anyway.
In other news: my webguru sent me links to some of the pages of the new site in progress the other day for me to check out. They are coming along great! The new site is going to be easy on the eyes, easy to use and packed with sexy muscle fiction and illustrations. Hotness!

We have a landing page!

As our merry band of muscle enthusiasts work hard in the back ground to get the site up and running, we have launched a temporary landing page. Visit www.musclefiction.com to see what we're all about. It also has an example of the kind of illustrations you'll be able to see as a member.

We hope to "go live" early in August!

Kobayashi Still In The Hunt

Watched the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog eating contest on ESPN this morning. Kobayashi was still in the game. He and Chestnut both ate 59 dogs and buns in 10 minutes. After about 2 minutes of conferring between officials, they were both given 5 dogs and buns for an "eat off". He lost to Chestnut by just a fraction of a second.

His website lists his weight now at 75 kg, and he weighed in at 165 lbs. So he's two pounds lighter than last year. But he looks much leaner in the face and neck. At some point, I wish he'd release some more of his beefy muscle pics!
