before and after

This cutie has gone from lanky to beefy. it's a shame the after picture doesn't have the same smile as the before. you'd think that having gone from normal to muscle man, you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off his face.

I love before and after shots. They are so much fun. It's great to be able to compare the before him with the after him. His arms are like twice as big. His shoulders are like cannon balls. His neck is thicker. His chest and deeper. It's the same guy, but he's transformed. He's gone from cutie to muscle stud.

Progression shots, pictures taken at various stages as a guy gets progressively bigger and more muscular, are even better. It's like being able to see somebody transform from geek to god in front of your eyes.

Take for instance this guy, who's documented his growth with these pictures. Not only has his posing improved from first to last, but his body had transformed from positively gangly to out and out ripped muscle stud.

The transformation is just amazing in both cases. Being able to see both the starting point and the end point lets us appreciate the magnitude of the change. For me, muscles are that much more exciting when you consider that they actually grew. The bigger the guy is, the more his muscles had to grow to get to where he is. The guy used to be smaller. Now he's bigger. That's just sexy. Not only is he bigger, his muscles are firmer with better shape.

When the little guys are transformed into big and beefy muscle men, they've taken control of their bodies and made themselves into something they weren't before. They have literally made themselves, built their bodies, muscled up. That dedication and control combined with the change and their increased size and strength is very powerful. It's about the sexiest thing imaginable.

nice chest

this is a morph of a noted bodybuilder/fitness model, whose name escapes me at the moment. check out the pecs. now, if that isn't a great chest, i don't know what is. if the young man in my previous post keeps up his training, he could achieve a chest like this. wouldn't that be hot?

is it the shirt?

i earlier wrote about how the right shirt can make a buff guy look even better. in this case, i don't think the shirt has anything to do with it. those pecs would make pretty much any shirt look good. hell, who even noticed the shirt?

granted, it is apparent that this guy is flexing his pecs, you'd never get striations like his without flexing. none the less, this guy's chest is amazing. they are big and heavy, dense with muscle projecting out over his abs. i love the over-development of his chest. just look at those slabs of meat in comparison to his arms. he's really achieved something admirable, to me anyway.

can you imagine those pecs being bounced? oof.

a good shirt is a hard thing to find

sometimes a good shirt is all it takes to make a beefy guy look magnificent.

take, for instance, this handsome lad. he would turn heads and possibly stop traffic in street clothes that "fit". but in this wonderfully undersized polo shirt, he is such a stunner. good color for his skin and hair and just tight enough so that his pecs look like they need their very own zip code. his arms fill out the sleeves perfectly.

then, with a grin, he flexes those big arms and POW! a mountainous biceps stretches those same sleeves to the very limit! look at how his biceps are clearly defined, even under the sleeve's fabric. the slightly worn and tattered hem on the sleeve suggests that his muscles are so big the shirt can barely contain them.

sometimes, i see a guy with what appears to be a great build and i think, damn, if only i could see him without a shirt. other times, like with this guy, i just think, damn, he is one hot muscleman. the shirt is both tight enough to let me clearly see the bulging contours of his muscles, and modest enough not to shock polite society or scare the horses. lol.
