Changes Coming

Now that I am less in the moment, I am going to take some time and reassess the purpose and direction of this blog. I will no longer be blogging at this address. There are 4 entries scheduled and they will be posted. After that when I know where my new blog will be, I'll post a link along with an announcement.
Thank you for your support over all these years. I hope that we can continue our relationship...in a new location.

MuscleFiction Is Back Up

MuscleFiction.com is up and running again.  The web host is being cagey about why it was down.  "This should be rectified now, please check" is the email I received.

But it's back up!

Now to check the email....

MuscleFiction.com Down Temporarily

I just learned that MuscleFiction.com is down.  I am not sure how long it has been down.  My MuscleFiction.com email is also down.  I am not sure how long IT has been down, either.

Sigh.

I am attempting to work with my current web host to resolve the issue.  If I can't get it resolved TODAY, I will be moving my hosting.  This will mean that the site will be down for another day or so.

I am sincerely sorry for the irritation and annoyance this may have caused any of you who has attempted to visit MuscleFiction.com.

No Kindle? No Problem! All Three Books Now Available As PDF's

The response to my releasing I Am A Freak in a PDF ebook edition has convinced me to release the other two books in PDF ebook editions, too!

Surprising Muscle and The Start of Something Good are now both for sale as PDF's through GumRoad.com.  GumRoad provides secure credit card processing through PayPal and an easy and intuitive download process.  (By the way, I recommend them for online sales.  Super easy to use.)

So, for my readers who don't have a Kindle, if you don't want the paperbacks, now you can download all three of my books as PDF's!

First Book Now Available As A PDF.

Some of my readers have been asking for a non-Kindle ebook version of my books.  I have found a way to make PDF versions of my books available.  So, If you haven't purchased my book as a paperback or a Kindle, now you can get a PDF version of my first book, I Am A Freak, through gumroad.com who provide secure credit card processing and an easy download of the book.

PDF Edition of I Am A Freak

If there is sufficient interest, I'll format books two and three for PDF editions, too.

Falseyedee's Paperback Books Now Available In The UK and Europe

Thanks to my printer's expanding their network of print on demand locations, my paperback books are now available to readers in the UK and Europe without having to pay for shipping from the United States.  For those of my European readers who love real books and love muscle, now you can buy the books, get them for less shipping cost and much faster, too.

If you live in the UK or Europe and have a Kindle, or a Kindle app on your computer, iPad, or smart phone, you can also order the ebook from your "local" Amazon site as well.

A question for everybody: would you like to see the books available as PDF's? Would you buy them in that format?

Paypal and Censorship

If you are a computer literate reader or a writer of erotica, porn, sci-fi, fantasy or other alternative genres, you probably use Paypal to buy or sell the stories you read. Recently Paypal suspended the accounts of several online book sellers that specialize in selling books and ebooks in the above genres, requiring that they remove ALL the titles that included a list of "obscene" subjects.

Please read Victoria Foxxe's post about her experience here:
http://victoriafoxxe.livejournal.com/7120.html

Many of the themes we enjoy are on the list of banned subjects. While I am not yet personally affected by this ban, I can easily see how some of my writing could fall under these blanket terms.

Who of us wants a credit card processing company to determine what we can read? What we can buy? What we can sell? If they ban BDSM themes, what next? Gay sex? Graphic novels with kinky themes? Political speech? If Paypal succeeds with these smaller vendors, what will stop them from trying to do the same thing with Amazon or barnes and Noble or other larger vendors?

If you don't mind putting your name and address down, please sign this petition:

Save Now - Kindle Prices Going Up!

The prices on the Kindle versions of my books, I Am A Freak, Surprising Muscle and The Start of Something Good will be going up on 15 January 2012.  If you are on a super tight budget and haven't purchased these books for your Kindle yet, now is the time.

Granted, the new prices aren't going to break your bank.  The prices will still be lower than those of similar titles and the book The Start of Something Good will still be half the price of the other two (since it is half the length).  The prices of the paper back versions will remain the same.

You can buy any of my books at the Musclaneous and MuscleFiction Amazon.com Associates Store.  You can also access my books at Amazon.com through my Author Page.

Extending Our Charter Subscription Rate Offer

Given the way the economy is behaving right now, we've decided to extend our special Charter Member subscription rates until November 30th.

After November 30th, we will raise our subscription rates. So if you've been thinking about joining, do it soon and save!

And we'll be posting our second update next week. It's a good one with a hot story and Archangel Robriel's newest illustration, which is HOT.

Funny thing, I keep opening his emails to me when I'm at my day job...and there will be one of his amazing illustrations and it'll just get me all hot and bothered and needing a cold shower. Must remember to wait until I get home to open those emails!
