definition of "thick"

when bodybuilders and those that admire them talk about a "thick" physique, this is what they mean. the muscles aren't just big, they are full and dense. this guy is also wildly vascular. check out the visible veins in those massive quads of his. he probably had to cut the legs off those jeans just to pull them on! is it me? or do his upper arms look like they're as big as his head?
