B-b-b-biceps!

I'm going to start with an oldy:

 This guy's pictures were posted to an old bodybuilding forum several years ago over the span of two or three years as his arms went from twig like to the massive hams seen here.  I would love to know what he looks like now, or if anybody has pictures of him flexing.  He never flexed!  I just love the fact that his arms were developed so much more than his chest.  Flex, damn it!

Ahh, a muscle man who knows what we want: big muscles flexed in displays of power and strength.  This guy, flexing so boldly in the class room, is clearly an alpha male.  He's top dog and he knows it.

This guy is on his way to being an alpha male.  He's got the body.  Look at the size of his biceps!  He only has to get over his shyness and stop flexing in the showers and start flexing on the street to take his rightful place.

Then there are guys like Lorenzo.  They've got guns so big, they don't even have to flex to assert their dominance over everybody.  Damn, this guy's got it all goin' on.  Thick, dense muscle, massive and vascular.  I'm surprised he can find shirts that fit!  Sweet, no?

Then there are guys like this, who are such alpha males that people want to document in pictures just how much smaller they are in comparison.  The little guy has a decent body, fair biceps, but he wants his his picture taken with his arms around this bigger, blonde muscle stud while they both flex!  Look at the difference in the sizes of their arms!  The bigger guy's fore arms are bigger than the smaller guy's biceps.  And the little guy is happy about it, too.  I know I would be!

Takeru Kobayashi Loses Mass But Still Hot

Famed competitive eater and general hottie, Takeru Kobayashi recently posed in denim for Sebastian Stan.  The picture will appear in VMEN #20.  He's lost quite a bit of mass in the last few years, but he's still a hottie!

This guy's shirt is tattered form wear and his arms are just about the most amazing I've seen on a "regular" guy.  Crushingly strong, too, I'm sure!  I know I wouldn't want to tangle with him...or, oh, no, actually I would love to tangle with him and feel just how strong he is.



This guy is dominating the photographer with is stunning physique.  I've written before about the pure dominance of the double biceps pose.  Looking up over those cobbled abs at those bulging biceps is a sublime experience.

This shirt lifter has really lovely pecs and his arms are great, too!

This cute muscle man has a torso that we can all appreciate, and look at those arms.  Even unflexed, they are just brimming with power.  That smirk of a smile says it all about who is really in charge here!

All these beefy men showing off their amazing muscles.  That's the TREAT for this Halloween!  Hopefully, your tricks will be as sweetly muscular.

Web Site Up and Running

Hey, there!  My website, MuscleFiction.com, is up and running again in it's new incarnation: as the home of my, erm, "literary" pursuits.

Surprising Muscle, the second collection of my short stories will be coming out in about a month.  Yay!

And, Monster Muscle Men, my first gay, muscle bound adventure novel will be coming out in early 2011.

Halloween Is Coming!

What do you do for Halloween?  Do you break out your leather gear and flex for your minions?  Or do you curl up with a scary movie or creepy book?

If you like to settle in with a creepy book, check out The House of The Vampire.  I edited this edition and wrote an introduction to this classic American vampire story.  It is seriously creepy.  The ending still gives me chills.  It's a great read and an appropriate Halloween gift.

It's About Time

I love the look on the guy in the white T-shirt.  It's a look of lust and wonder.  His eyes look like they're gonna pop out of his head.  And the bodybuilder is looking great!

It's been a while!  I've been proofing the galley's for my next book, Surprising Muscle.  It is amazing.  I have gone over this stuff with a fine tooth comb.  My editor has gone over this stuff with a fine tooth comb.  I get the galleys and what do I find?  A type-o!  Granted it is a word that sounds the same as the intended word.  But it's still wrong!  Ugh.

I've finished the first review of the galley's.  I'm going to take a week and not think about it.  Then review it again.  The book will still be available by the end of October or mid-November.  Just in time for holiday shopping.

This, That and The Other

Second, That:
I am working on finishing up reviewing the galley proofs for my second book, Surprising Muscle, the second collection of 10 short stories about muscle growth and muscle worship.  It's going to be about 190 pages of muscley goodness!  If all goes well, the book should be out and listed at Amazon.com in November.

I'm also working on a full length sci-fi adventure novel with more than a tinge of homo-erotic muscle about it.  This novel should be out in February of next year.  I'll keep you posted on the progress.

The Hotness...and Kindle News!

This guy is the hotness.  Just look at his pecs, shoulders and biceps.  All that muscle in a tight, skimpy shirt and a too cute face, to boot!

More hotness.  Those pecs are just freaking amazing.  I can't quite fathom a guy that lean with such massive pecs.  They're just begging for some attention.  And he's got that adorkable look that, when combined with all that lean muscle, is just unbelievably hot.

I lost a lot of weight and even more strength when I was in the hospital.  Guys who used to to be big to me are huge.  It doesn't take arms like these to dominate me any more.

In fact, a shorter, lighter guy, with a pair of not huge, but well formed arms like these could probably snap me like a twig.  There is something oddly exciting about knowing that a little guy who isn't built like the hulk can hug you into submission.  It also gives a guy a goal: get bigger and, more importantly, stronger!

But until then, it's kind of fun hanging around smaller strong men for a change.

I can't fault his torso or arms at all. His chest looks good too. The only place where there is an clear weakness is his calves. But with arms like his, I'll gladly give him a pass. Besides, he's only 17. He's got plenty of time to turn those calves into cows.

Kindle Edition of First Book Coming

For those of you who use the Kindle ebook reader, I have submitted the files required to Amazon.com.  The Kindle edition should be available in 2 or 3 days.  This is a pure experiment for me.  I don't have a Kindle yet, so I am unsure if the files are formatted well.  I followed all the instructions, but this is a first effort.  If you buy a copy of the Kindle edition and you have some constructive criticism on the formatting/features, please let me know.

Edit on 7/30/10: I just got an email from the Kindle people.  The Kindle file had "issues" that I need to fix, so maybe next week....

Biceps Galore!

Because I haven't posted in a while, and because biceps are just amazing muscles, here are a few pictures from my collection.

Okay, boys, flex for us!

This first guy claims his biceps are only 12-inches, but damn, he's making every inch count!

This guy is too shy to look at the camera. Or maybe he's too caught up in his own flexing. Either way, it looks like one or two more pumps of that arm and his sleeve is going to burst!

Can you get much better than this? Great arms and a stunning torso is an awesome combination.

Not as big as the guy right above, but this fellow is showing the split between the two heads, and his definition is lick-worthy.

Another smaller bicep, but it looks plenty big from this vantage point.

This guy is a stunner! Not super cut, but massive and check out that peak! It's like the Mount Olympus of biceps!

My personal favorite from this collection. He's youthful, hunky, with thick muscles and just look at the size of his forearm.

Another beautiful bicep. That shirt probably isn't long for this world. He looks disappointed! How could he be disappointed?

Still Grappling With Health Issues

When Did THAT Happen?

This may fall under the category of "unexpected muscle". Unexpected muscle is when you encounter muscle where you didn't expect it. For some reason, that is a pretty cool thing and perhaps a bit more erotic than muscle where you do expect it.

For instance, I recently encountered these images and they kind of blew my mind. The first is former boy bander, Lance Bass. He was always kind of dorky and had weird eyes. I'd never found him very attractive. But then I saw this:

Holy, hotness, Batman! When did THAT happen? I mean, not only is he way beefier than I thought he was, but he really looks HAWT in that photo! Small waist, nice arms...the boy has pecs, for goodness sake. Maybe it's the "rough trade" quality to the picture, too, kind of grubby and dangerous. Yum.

The other picture was even more surprising to me. Adrien Brody, the skinny Academy Award winning actor was, to me, a lot cause. Way too skinny, tall, gawky with a bid nose. Great actor, but not attractive to me in the least. Then I recently saw this photo of him:
Jiminy Crickets! When did THAT happen? I know he didn't always have muscles like that. Not that he's going to be competing in the Olympia or anything, but damn, he's got pecs! I believe he's a tall guy and probably a "hard gainer", so this picture represents a ton of hard work. And he looks hot, too.

When did these guys get beefy? And, more importantly, are they gonna keep it up and get even bigger? Now, that would be sweet. I'll have to keep my eyes on them for future growth.

Loving guys who have no shame, proud of their muscles, guys who like to show off their guns for appreciative or surprised friends. They inspire a lot of jealousy, awe and worship. Here are some of my favorites:

And my favorite of the bunch. He's flexing for the camera showing off his guns. Great peak, great fore arm, tiny waist, tight shirt over an equally tight torso, short muscular and cocky. I just want to reach right out and feel those biceps. Maybe I could challenge him to armwrestle. That would be great...and I bet he'd beat me, too!

On a personal note: I have been very ill and am only just now recovering enough to get back to something resembling my normal life. Things are not back to normal yet, but I'm hoping to resume posting here again and then back at MuscleFiction.com in a month or so. But I'm not sure I'll be able to post as often as I'd intended.

PDA: Affectionate Muscle

Don't you just love it when you see muscle men being affectionate? I do. I like to see them all over one another. I also like to see muscle men allowing non-muscular men to be affectionate with them.

In the category of muscle men draped over one another, these two hunky jocks. And don't you love the cropped t-shirt the shorter guy is wearing? Lordy, that's just hot.

I'm not sure what's happening here. It kind of looks like they might have won the game and were caught bragging in the locker room. But I like to imagine that it's to hot muscle men about to start a little test of strength...and I'll bet the shorter guy wins!

We've all see this one before. Man that guy is stoked and his little buddy is one lucky friend. The little one looks like he's about to say, "Fuck, your arm is hard as concrete!"

And the final image for today, this Asian muscle stud with mulitple people rubbing their hands all over him. And he likes it, too! Just look at his smile. He's like, "yeah, you better believe I'm a stud. Just feel these muscles! Go ahead, you know you want to."

Gee, I'd sure like to join in!

Showing off: Shirt Lifters

There are guys with abs for days, the ones with washboard abs so phenomenal that you could clean all the laundry from a frat house on their stomachs. These are the guys most likely to lift the bottom hem of their shirts to show off their cobbled guts. Here's a handful of shirt lifters to lift your spirits as fall decends on us.

This shaggy haired young man is flexing in his bedroom for the web cam...and we thank him heartily. Nice arms, solid abs and shaggy skater looks make him a favorite and he's got the goods to show off.

Other guys can't help flexing in the gym, like this young filippino hunk. There isn't much to his clothing to begin with, but with abs like his, and pecs big enough to hold the shirt up by themselves, showing off his muscular torso seems perfectly reasonable.

Not every shirt lifter is a bruising hulk. This lean guy is working the pose for all it is worth. Great abs and decent arms. Love the tonge just protruding! Unconcious, I'm sure.

Other guys have even more reasons to lift their shirts. This is Takeru Kobayashi, a particular favorite of mine, lifting his shirt after devouring pounds of some foodstuff or other, and still sporting a killer 6-pack! And his pec ain't bad either.

And my very favorite kind of shirt lifter: the one with abs you wouldn't expect. I would not expect such a killer set of abs on a guy like this. He's got a killer 8-pack that would stand up to scrubbing the dirty laundry of a frat house or two and still be able to take a couple of punches, too!
